After exhausting unlimited options for wildflower compositions I layed down on the ground for a rest. After a moment of silence I turned my head to see this one poppy against the blue sky horizon. Afraid to move my position and lose the view I stretched for my camera bag pulled out the 2.8 lens to focus mainly on the one poppy. It has since been my favorite.

One of those images that came from my inner eye and was lost in my files until a friend suggested I print it really large. Now it graces walls of collectors giclee printed onto 3×5ft canvas. This region of Australia is home to 7 of the most poisonness snakes in the world. I didn’t know that when I trudged thru the forest bramble at dusk to get this view. Thats grace.

This was a 30 second time exposure taken under Australia’s night sky. As for the green light emanating from my hands – I was not holding a light source but I was praying. No photoshop was used except to lighten the image enough to see my silhouette.

A coyote family took up residence in a drainage pipe on the golf course of Leisure World retirement community. Thanks to my friends from the camera club, that live there, I was able to have access to make this endearing photo.
